So, this year Band tour has been very awesome! God has came and met with us during all of our services. I can honestly say that I personally needed this tour. I'm so excited about how He is using our services to ministry to others, but to myself as well.
Of course tour wouldn't be fun without the funny things that happen. Last night after our service we we're to stay on the platform until we knew who we were going with. So Michelle and I are patiently waiting and waiting and waiting, when the lady said, "Okay, that takes care of everyone." But it left Michelle and I without a place to stay......... We very politely informed her that we didn't have a place to stay. To make a LONG story short the lady who was suppose to take us home didn't show up, this sweet lady immediately went searching for a place to rest our weary little heads. She found a family who was not prepared for extra people in their house to take us home and give us a bed. The Blanton family had a beautiful house, and adorable children. They just recently became Christians and we were able to share with them about the Holiness movement and familiarize them with our school! It was such a great time!
Today we were suppose to load the bus at 11:00 sharp :-) Well, needless to say Michelle and I did not load the bus until 11:30ish! We informed the Blanton's of the time we needed to be on the bus but we didn't make it. We got several phone calls informing us we we're late! The bus tried to leave twice without us, but thankfully they stayed around for us. We finally loaded the bus and took off, but when we stopped Mr. Mills and Mr. Wolf kept informing us exactly what time we needed to load the bus. Thankfully, it wasn't our faults we were late in the first place.
Tonight, we had a very good service. We were in a very small church and Hector and I wasn't allowed to play on four songs. Instead we got to worship on those songs. Tomorrow night is our last service and then we head back to Cincinnati. I will be glad when the bus pulls back onto campus! Well, I must head off to bed now Goodnight friends

Second day of tour
As I lay here blogging I am currently in Rock Hills, South Carolina. Today, is the second day of tour and it has been excellent so far. Last night, we had our first service in Ohio about an hour away from school. Today we loaded the bus at 6:45 and pulled away from good ole' Cincinnati. We had a long 8 1/2 hrs on the bus but it has been fun. I almost completed the book, Missions in the 21st Century (which is very good,) my homework load is a little lighter now.

Two Adorable children!
Yesterday, I went to Scott and Lynnette's and got to see some of my favorite children in the world. Here is Kaiden! Right before this picture he was smiling very much but was fascinated by the light on the camera phone, therefore, making this face.
This is a picture of Meaghan right before her 1st birthday with her favorite toys at Mamaw & Papaw's house.

Here is a picture of Meaghan that was taken last night, She had a mouth full of chips and was a lot of fun! I took her shopping with me, and she kept sayin " HI, I shoppin with Aunt Sarah." Everyone in the stores knew who I was thanks to Meaghan.
Once again here is Kaiden. Such a cute lil' guy. Do you think he looks like Meg when she was younger?

The Adventure of Change
Wow, it has been a long week. I have been home now for a whole week and its been very busy. I'm thankful that I have a job that I can come home to whenever I need it. The managers love when I'm on breaks, or home for the weekends, because like all places they need the extra help. About a year ago when I left for college we got a new GM, which I wasn't happy about, but now I'm thankful for him. He is a very educated man and knows from years spent in college that it isn't very cheap. Over Christmas break he called me and asked me if I could come in and serve? I couldn't believe it. I have worked there since the restaurant opened and have only worked as a cook, and expo, and a hostess, but never as a server. Anyways, I took him up on the offer and went in to work kinda scared. Yes, I have served before but you have to take into consideration that Steak-n-Shake and Montana Mike's Steakhouse is worlds apart. We have close to 100 things at least on the menu and trying to manage 3 to 6 tables at a time can be tricky.
Here are just a few of the steps that EACH table requires: "Hi, how are you doing today? I'm Sarah, and will be taking care of you today. May I start you out with something to drink? Are we going to have any of our delicious appetizers today? How about Chili Cheese Fries, or our home breaded Onion Rings. Today we are featuring our_______ fill in the blank." (side note: This is required, and for the most part I get the first part in, but after the drink thing I usually stop talking. The whole speech only happens when there is a manager standing in listening range.) After all of this and finally taking the orders, putting the order in the computer, and trying to remember what each person has to drink, or making sure you get the salads out before the meal, can be at times a little crazy. Anyways, I do love my job, and back to my GM. I went into work when I got home to work out my schedule, and Mike told me that he was only going to let me serve, since it pays more money. I have made money over this break, and I believe its going to be enough to not have to take the second distribution of my student loan. I'm thankful that although they desperately need the help on the line that he has spared me the 400 degrees Kitchen and given me the 65 degree dinning room. So, all of this just to say that I'm glad God know what are needs are and that He is already has something planned out for us to meet those needs.
Although my break was spent working, I've enjoyed it but more than that I've enjoyed a week at home. I head back to Cincinnati after lunch on Sunday and then its off to classes on Tuesday. Speaking of classes I need to get some homework finished so I'm getting up in the morning and heading off to the library to spend my day before I trot off to work. I decided that if I stay at home I won't get as much accomplished as I NEED to get done.
Well, I believe thats all for tonight and I can't believe I've written this much.
Good-night!

Late Winter Break
Break will start at 1:00 p.m. today! Break has already begun for me I'm almost finished packing and then I will head down to eat and then hit the roads for home. My break is going to be busy, but I am still looking forward to it! I will be working a lot, and doing as much homework as possible. Thats sounds horrible I know, but was school resumes time simple flies.
Well, I must go, my phone is ringing and my wonderful cousin is begging me to come down to the parlor so that we can leave. Yes, within the hour I will give into his wishes. I will try and keep this updated over break but...... no promises
